I have always surrounded my life with creative pursuits, and I enjoy sharing my work with others to open up a platform of conversation. I am captivated by humanity; Our will, fragilities and connectedness. I am interested in how audiences respond to themes which resonate through their diverse experiences.
I am a Brisbane based artist, born in Australia. Working primarily with paint, I am interested in its immersive qualities for both viewer and artist. Painting lacks the pictorial authority of the photograph and entices the audience to bring their own sensory prompts to the fore. Painting is an act of homing in and out of focus constantly; I get lost within the doing; fixating on details, guided by memory and stepping back to see the entirety.
