The Wisdom of The Birds
Birds bear plumage that we have been inspired by and yearned for, for centuries. We adorn ourselves in their feathers and forge sheets of steel to launch ourselves into the sky. As the birds do. But perhaps the most peculiar of avian behaviours is the preservation reflex. When a bird is sick or injured, it will hide these symptoms to the best of its ability – lest it be killed.
Hi, how are you?
Good thanks.
“Two turtle doves will show thee
Where my cold ashes lie
And sadly murmuring tell thee
How in tears I did die”
– Nikolai Gogol
